Fondation la Grande lives by God's grace and the numerous volunteers, whether in the kitchen, in planning, in logistics or other valuable activities, we need you! We look forward to your message and to getting to know you personally.
Our initiative to provide a safe and loving home for widows and orphans in the Democratic Republic of Congo is based on volunteer commitment. All members of the board contribute their personal material and intangible assets to the mission and vision of our aid organization.
The cultural and aid organization does not pursue any commercial goals and offers a valuable contribution to the national and international community through its volunteer projects.
Without God's help and the voluntary commitment of all team members of the cultural and aid organization la Grande in Austria and the Fondation la Grande in the Democratic Republic of Congo, our work would not be possible.
It is particularly noteworthy that the catering serves as a social project that promotes networking, preservation, and dissemination of Congolese culture. This promotes understanding among Congolese living in the diaspora and people with a Congolese migration background. Board members finance the catering as needed. Donations received for catering requests go directly to the widows and orphans, or toward the construction of the retirement home and orphanage in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Our work encompasses a wide range of tasks, from back office operations to social media to our fundraising events and demonstrations. Our team consists of seven volunteer members, who also form the board.
You have the opportunity to get involved both long-term and short-term. Any support is welcome.
Back Office (event summaries, preparation of annual reports, monthly reports and quarterly reports, social media)

Project management (writing funding applications, managing projects from idea to implementation)
