The widows and orphans in the Democratic Republic of Congo celebrated Christmas and the New Year 2025 with praise. Thanks to your donations, the widows and orphans were able to receive their gift packages worth 25 euros each and then go home with dancing and praise.

Every euro helps and counts. The widows and orphans thank their sponsors and all other donors from the bottom of their hearts.

The 7th Charity Gospel Show took place in the premises of the adult education center in Großjedlersdorf, Siemensstrasse 17, in the 21st district. The extensive program started with a presentation about Fondation La Grande and a performance of the play Nenette and ended with a wonderful, inspiring performance by the Gospelkids, Rohrwassergasse and a round table on the topic: The bloodshed in the Democratic Republic of Congo - Why does it concern you and me? We thank God for the large number of guests who donated, the Catering La Grande team and all the volunteers who contributed to the success of the late afternoon/evening. A huge thank you to DJ Zola and photographer Matea www.mateaphotography.at . The donations contributed to a wonderful Christmas for the widows and orphans in the Democratic Republic of Congo!

In sadness and gratitude for the beautiful moments, we say goodbye to one of our widows, Maman Malasi , who has passed away forever after years of illness.

With beautiful memories in mind, we thank God for the last years she spent with us at the Fondation la Grande family. We, the Fondation la Grande family, will pay our last respects to Maman Malasi and say goodbye in the next few days.

We would like to thank the donors for every donation that also benefited her. May Maman Malasi rest in peace!
