February 22, 2025 - In collaboration with activist Topoke mwana mayi, Congo Vienna Action, Hate is not normal, Revolution & Migrantifa and other allies we organized a peace march!

Solidarity for peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo!

While terms such as ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and, among others, CSRD (sustainability reporting) have become indispensable in business and among climate activists, over 12 million people in the Democratic Republic of Congo are being murdered by the neighboring country Rwanda through the use of M23! With the high international demand for the valuable raw materials in the Democratic Republic of Congo, especially the coltan ore, which is essential in the production industry for electronic devices such as smartphones, smart TVs, car and aircraft engines, Rwanda has been using M23 - a cruel terrorist group - for over 30 years to take over eastern Congo. Climate neutrality and sustainable production of electronic devices cannot be achieved without coltan! The genocide in the Democratic Republic concerns you and me, because the neighboring country is terrorizing the inhabitants of Congo (DR) in order to sell coltan cheaply to large industrial players! For example, in order to scare away the inhabitants, Congolese women, girls and even children are raped in front of family members. Male inhabitants are killed and children are made orphans! The significant consequences of the ongoing genocide for Europe are an inevitable large wave of refugees coming to Europe." In solidarity, we demand freedom and peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo and over 300 people protested against the genocide that has been going on for over 30 years in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Fondation La Grande says thank you!

With appreciation, our work for the benefit of the victims in the Democratic Republic of Congo continues. The demonstration on February 22, 2025 is an important step in the right direction! More steps to follow!

Since the foundation of the aid organization, our work has been designed:

  • Giving widows and orphans a new home

  • To treat their experienced traumas and to care for them holistically

  • By drawing attention to the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo

  • In which we advocate for the observance of legally enshrined human rights.

Support our work with your donation!

The Foundation's goal is to give widows and orphans a home! Security and love to help them grow into successful adults are rights that orphans are also entitled to! This is what Fondation la Grande stands for and is therefore building a widows and orphans home!

The unsafe and dangerous massacre in the Democratic Republic of Congo has resulted in many children losing their parents. These orphans have no shelter and are traumatized and are looking for a home. With requests growing daily as to when we can take in orphans from the crisis region, we need support to build the orphanage more than ever!

Support us now and donate to the construction of the orphanage!

We can't do much to address the root of the problem, but we can help find a long-term solution for the victims! Let's give the orphans and widows a smile, long-term security and a home again!

Every donation helps and counts! Thank you!

International Women's Day is just around the corner. For March 8th, we have again planned a special campaign for widows and orphans in Kinshasa, which you can support with just 25 euros per gift package.

Widows receive a Liputa again and money. As part of a nice celebration, orphans also receive small gifts and are taken to the supermarket . Your donation makes this possible!

Donate now and give widows a charming and warm smile again this year 2025.
